About Dr. Nabert

Dr. David Nabert grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers College. After Medical School and his residency in Internal Medicine, he entered the Air Force as a flight surgeon; he holds multiple pilot and instructor certificates and instructed civilian pilots during that time. This brought him to the South, and he never left.

He continued his training in Cardiology at Ochsner in New Orleans and then Cardiac Electrophysiology at
University of Louisville.

Dr. Nabert taught young cardiologists how to perform electrophysiology procedures at the University of
Florida in Jacksonville, FL.

Dr. Nabert came to Statesboro Cardiology in June 2011 to build a Heart Rhythm program for our
community.  He established new procedures at East Georgia Regional Medical Center for the treatment
of arrhythmia.  He implants pacemakers and defibrillators as well as performs ablations of cardiac
arrhythmias. His interests also include atrial fibrillation, heart failure, nuclear cardiology, and imaging.

Dr. Nabert is a published author and a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society, which is the organization of
Heart Rhythm Specialists.  He sees patients by appointment at our office.

He has been recently certified as a Metabolic Health Practitioner and does consults on metabolic health
and the heart.

Dr. David Nabert has two sons, Douglas and Daniel, with whom he enjoys the outdoors.
