About Dr. Schwarz

Dr. Julio Schwarz was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala and moved to the United States at the age of 7. He obtained his music degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, was proficient with percussion and taught high school drumline his senior year.

He then began his journey with premedical school training at the University of New Orleans. He then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Following medical school he completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

After fellowship training in General Cardiology and advanced sub-specialty training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He joined Statesboro Cardiology in 2016.     

Dr. Schwarz is caring for cardiac patients in the office, providing diagnostic testing and performing interventional and vascular procedures at EGRMC.

Dr. Julio Schwarz and his wife, Tiffany, have three daughters, Julian, Lola, and Amelia.  He enjoys spending time with his family, church and playing music.
